Sarah & Steve had a delightful Afternoon Tea Wedding here at Glenfall last July. Our Afternoon Tea wedding package is a lovely, intimate afternoon package for up to 40 guests.
Sarah arrived to add the finishing touches and get changed in Molyneux, choosing a gorgeous flowing wedding dress with an empire waistline and longer sheath sleeves. Meanwhile Steve greeted guests outside overlooking the gardens in the glorious summer sunshine with a selection of welcome drinks served in our rustic drinks trough.
Guests made their way to The Alcove with no formal set seating sides adding to the relaxed feel for the day before Sarah's grand entrance to Have You Met Miss Jones (two guesses at what Sarah's last name used to be).
After a beautiful ceremony guests had plenty of time for outdoor games and enjoying the gardens. Sarah & Steve added some extra flowers around our double garden swing to add a wow factor and explored with photographer Hannah Buckland.
Afternoon Tea was served in The Ballroom with a selection of cakes, sandwiches & savoury snacks all displayed on rustic wooden features for guests to help themselves. Steve is a big fan of battenburg cake so we made sure to include them in the sweet selection. A vibrant hundreds and thousands rainbow cake was a colourful addition to the afternoon with an affectionate "At Last" cake topper reflecting the couples humorous side.
This lovely afternoon package was extended by 2 hours to allow for some evening guests to join in just for a ceilidh in The Ballroom before everyone was treated to delicious evening pizzas.
The whole day was a wonderful afternoon focused around spending time with loved ones and enjoying each others' company. It was an absolute pleasure to host such a lovely day for such a lovely family here at Glenfall.
